Dr Khalid completed his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from de’ Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore in 1999. He worked as dental surgeon at Sheikh Zyed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan and Margalla College of Dentistry, Rawalpindi. Dr Khalid completed the Master program (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2011 from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and then he started working as Senior Registrar in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Islamabad Medical and Dental College. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in the same institution.

He is a member of the Pakistan Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons. In June 2004 he was elected as General Secretary, Pakistan Dental Association Federal Zone.

After working for years in the field of dentistry, Dr Khalid felt the need of continuing educational programs to be conducted on regular basis for general practitioners. It was a difficult task, which was made easy by his colleagues working as team. Now he is involved in continuing education for practitioners by conducting different workshops throughout the year.
