Any student seeking admission in medical or dental college shall mandatorily be required to have passed the MDCAT examination. The passing marks for the MDCAT examination shall
be 55% and having obtained 60% or more in the F.Sc. or equivalent exam shall be eligible for admission in a medical or dental college.
For purpose of preparing the merit list the MDCAT result shall carry a 50% weightage and 40% weightage shall be given to the student’s marks acquired in the HSSC. or equivalent marks as certified by IBCC in the case of any other
recognized high school qualification obtained by either an external board examination taken in Pakistan or outside Pakistan, 10% weightage shall be given to the student's marks acquired in the SSC.
A student who does not hold a Pakistani nationality, or holds a dual nationality or is an overseas or a non-resident Pakistani citizen and having obtained their HSSC or equivalent 12th grade qualification from outside Pakistan shall for purposes of admission be deemed a 'Foreign Student'.
Foreign student shall qualify SAT-II with minimum score of 550 in each subject or a foreign MCAT examination or UCAT examination with 50% marks in the mandatory subjects of Biology and Chemistry. The student may opt. to qualify either physics or mathematics in HSSC or equivalent 12th grade qualification.
There are total 100 seats for MBBS which are open to all national and international students with equivalent qualification, subject to admission regulations.
The knowledge of English language is essential as the medium of instruction is English. A foreign student will, therefore, submit an additional certificate to the effect that the candidate can read/write and speak English fluently.
NOTE: If any of the above certificates/documents are found false or forged, legal action will be initiated in addition to rusticating the student from the college. All dues deposited shall stand forfeited.
